PLACED IN LIQUIDATION 5/23/2016
LIQUIDATION ORDER
On May 23, 2016, the Circuit Court of Cole County, Missouri issued an order finding Lumbermen's Underwriting Alliance ("LUA") insolvent and placing the company into liquidation. The Missouri Department of Insurance is responsible for the liquidation of LUA. Effective that same date, the Texas Commissioner of Insurance issued an Order of Impairment for LUA, which triggered the Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association's obligations under the Guaranty Act to handle certain claims arising out of LUA policies.
INSURANCE POLICY AND COVERAGE INFORMATION
Any LUA policies still in force will cancel on June 22, 2016, at 12:01 a.m. at the local time for the insured's usual place of business. Policyholders should contact their agent or other business advisors regarding obtaining replacement coverage. The Texas Department of Insurance's website also offers a FAQ for consumers regarding policies and coverages.

The Missouri Department of Insurance is arranging for the transfer of claims files to TPCIGA for handling. Please forgo contacting TPCIGA for several weeks to allow sufficient time for the file transfer and initial review. TPCIGA will be unable to discuss the status of pending claims until the files have been transferred. We appreciate your patience.
WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS INFORMATION
The Missouri Department of Insurance has arranged for workers' compensation claimants to continue to receive income benefits for up to ten weeks without interruption until TPCIGA has received the Texas claims and can assume handling of payments. STAY OF LITIGATION
All lawsuits involving LUA have been stayed by order of the Missouri Court. Lawsuits pending in Texas in which LUA is a party or is obligated to defend a party are automatically stayed pursuant to Texas law until November 23, 2016 to allow TPCIGA time to receive and review the claims.
